In Year 7

Students are set into ability groups in English, and are taught in their forms for all other subjects other than Maths, PE and Engineering where smaller mixed ability groups are created. Half the year group takes French and half Spanish.

In Year 8

Students are set into ability groups in English and there is some setting in Science. They taught in their forms for all other subjects other than Maths, PE and Engineering where smaller mixed ability groups are created. Half the year group continues to take French and half Spanish.

In Year 9

Students are set into ability groups in English, Maths, Modern Languages and Science. They are taught in their forms for all other subjects other than PE and Engineering where smaller mixed ability groups are created. Half the year group continues to take French and half Spanish.
